So, my husband thought I should leave the stick growth for now, then in spring, add a few leaves, then a few more leaves, then buds . . . 😆

Here is where section one is now. More definition tomorrow. It should be a pretty week!

When you come for tea, you will see the wall painting coming to life, so-to-speak. I contacted Stacey Pilkington-Smith about a mural. She did a beautiful mock-up for us, but then I realized what I asked for and what I truly wanted were not the same thing. Stacey has been wonderful as I changed my mind and decided to lean into realism and paint it myself.

Here is the inspiration from England, and the beginnings of our climbing rose paintings. The old wood comes first. New growth, leaves, and roses, next. Each wall section will have its own unique "bush". I have a long way to go. Thankful for gorgeous weather.
