It’s officially October! Which means we’re entering our favorite time of year at Grounded Coffeehouse—the season when we really get to let our creative side shine. 🍂☕️🎄
From dreaming up our seasonal specialty drink menus to developing new coffee blends and flavored roasts, this is the time of year when there’s always something being created behind the scenes.
And something you may not realize is just how much of that we do ourselves.
We don’t just roast our own coffee—we create our own blends, too. From the staple blends you know and love to our limited seasonal and holiday coffees, we carefully select the beans, experiment with different combinations and ratios, roast, taste, adjust, and keep working until we find a cup we’re proud to put the Grounded name on.
Even our flavored coffees are created right here by us. We research and select the flavors we think will complement each coffee best, experiment with combinations and ratios, and put our own Grounded twist on every roast.
And as always, we roast in small batches every week. That’s intentional.
Small-batch roasting allows us to have more control over each roast, pay attention to the little details, and—most importantly—make sure the coffee leaving our shop is as fresh as possible. We’d rather roast often than have bags of coffee sitting around waiting to sell.
We’ve spent the beginning of fall perfecting our seasonal roasts, and now that we’re happy with them, it’s time for the next project…
🎄 Holiday coffee.
Over the next several weeks, we’ll be back at the roaster experimenting, blending and tasting as we work toward the perfect Holiday Blend—something warm, cozy and festive that tastes like the season in a cup. We already have some ideas brewing, and we’re pretty excited about where this one could go.
