Good day to all! Switching food service providers comes with many rewards as well as hurdles. As the owner of this business, I feel it’s important to offer the highest quality possible while still remaining reasonable and profitable. Here are some of the ways we’ve improved over the last couple months. Our eggs are all cage free brown eggs, we’re using EVOO on our sandwiches rather than a spray, our smoked salmon is 100% wild caught sockeye salmon, our turkey is now a whole muscle product, we have a couple new sandwich’s( the Mediterranean veggie melt on Saigon bagel and the garden herb crunch served on our new ciabatta. The bad news here for all our cinnamon raisin bagel lovers is that there is a 4-6 lead time on this and is now special order item. So, we’ve ordered them twice and will se if they arrive. Admittedly, more good news than bad but wanted to make people aware of our efforts. Oh yes, I almost forgot. Our special for the next few days is a tuna melt with dill pickle cream cheese, toasted up on our Ciabatta. It’s so good!

Good day- This is the week we kick of our extended Friday hours. This Friday, we will be open til 6 and next Friday til at least 9 pm for the Uni place makers market. Don’t miss our happy hour from 4-6 where we’ll be offering discounted shareable plates, cocktails, coffee and w**e. And, Nebraska Wesleyan University, today is your day-Wesleyan Wednesdays, where we offer 10% off your purchase for students and facility alike.

Good day to you all! We have what we hope is an exciting announcement to make. We will be staying open later on Fridays, not just the first ones too:). beginning next week we will be staying open until 6 pm or later. During the hours if 4-6 we will be offering happy hour specials on food and drinks. We will look to post updates about said specials but will include alcohol and non alcohol drinks. Grab your friends and enjoy our new hours.

I didn’t know who needs to hear this so I’ll place it right here. Our lox bagel is back in stock and tastier than ever. Served on the bagel of your choice, house made dill cream cheese,(yes we use only fresh dill), smoky wild caught sockeye salmon lox, crispy red onions, capers, topped with a sprinkle of everything bagel seasoning. Perfect for what promises to be a scorcher of a day. Serving 8-3 today!

A bit more Eggciting news for people who care about what goes into your belly. Our in house cooked eggs as well as our hard boiled eggs are now cage free. And, FYI, our coffee is 100% organiclly grown! All the more reason to enjoy us :)

Exciting things coming our way this Friday! We will be open for the Maker's Market and will be joined by Code B**r Company for a sampling of their brews. Additionally, we will be tapping a keg of Code b**r company British nitro pale ale. This b**r is amazingly creamy and refreshing with a perfect balance of sweetness and flavor. We will be offering our food menu as well as energy drinks, Iced coffee and cocktails. Oh yes, And, free A/C with purchase :)

So, recently got our nitro system up and running, however we realized it wasn’t tasting very good and potentially becoming over nitrogenated so we have corrected that problem. We apologize to anyone who ordered a nitro in the last couple of weeks and found it to have an off flavor and encourage you to try it again. We’re happy to give you a sample prior to your commitment to a full pour :)
