Well another one in the books for 2026 at the Placer County Fair Annual Rib Cook Off. We had a great time competing with some of placer county's best Rib teams. S.O.B managed receive a 3rd place for peoples choice and for a 2nd year in a row we managed to take 2nd place on our judged competion turn in ribs. Congratulations to 5Skins BBQ for the 1st place win. Was a great day. S.O.B team wants to say thank you to family and friends who came out to support and help.

The Smoking On Bourbon BBQ team is off to a stellar start with our first competition of the year. Huge appreciation is owed to Andy Smith, Jon Panora, Darrel Cosgrove, and Bryan Szeremi for their dedication and hard work. We braved rain, wind, and a lightning storms to achieve a commendable 2nd place in Ribs at the CHSRA D-3 rodeo in Lincoln, Ca. The event's success was marked by its ability to raise crucial funds for the high school rodeo kids. We look forward to returning next year. Andy Smith Jon Panora Bryan Szeremi
