Hello Crawlers! The 8th book in the Dungeon Crawler Carl series is being released on May 12th and we’re throwing a little midnight release party at Sower Books. The cart will be popped up and we’ll be serving some fun drinks to keep you fueled for a long night. Pics include a few of these concoctions.

Doors open at 10:30pm on May 11th for all you normal crawlers to come get your book, play some games, and get some drinks. VIP tickets are also available through the website and include 30 minute early entry, a free drink, exclusive merch and more.

Btw this is a super limited menu but you’ll still get a chance to try it if you’re not wanting to stay up til midnight on a Monday. I’ll keep serving until I run out of stock, so keep an eye out for the May schedule and swing by when you can!

Record Store Day is only Two Weeks Away! Be sure to mark your calendars and Join us on Saturday April 18th! We open early at 7AM and will have tons of limited RSD titles on hand along with great sales all weekend long! Alvin Coffee will be on site in the morning to help keep you caffeinated, and our Neighbors Sower Books will be opening up with us at 7AM! We can't wait to see you all for Record Store Day 2026!

April 18 | Record Store Day! | Meadowlane Shopping Center (70th and Vine) outside Lincoln Vintage Vinyl (weather depending) | 7:00~12:00
April 25 | Eastridge Neighborhood Garage Sale | 920 Eldon Dr | 7:00-12:00

There are still a handful of other dates available this month so let me know if you and your crew need some coffee!

Also, teacher appreciation week is the first week of May. I do discounted rates for schools so if you’re someone who wants to treat the staff at your neighborhood school, shoot me a message and let’s talk about it! 🫶

Before we get to the schedule for the month, a few words.

This country is going through a lot right now. I’m not particularly eloquent and don’t feel like I have the words to really say what I think needs to be said. What I will say is that the treatment of some of our most vulnerable neighbors by a federal agency is cruel and wrong.

Alvin Coffee exists to be a catalyst for community and what is happening is antithetical to that goal. Therefore, a portion of February’s sales will be donated to Nebraska Appleseed ()an organization doing incredible work to achieve justice, equity, and inclusion in our community. They’re developing programs and resources for immigrants, health care, child welfare, and many other things in an effort to support and uplift our local communities.

This business is tiny and it’s easy to feel handcuffed by our limitations. However, every bit helps, so even if you’re not able to come snag a coffee this month, find some other solid businesses, organizations, and resources to give your time, money, or voice to. There are many ways for us to love our neighbors, so let’s join with each other in doing good.

Very neat collab comin at ya next month. The cart will be set up at Nebraska Community Blood Bank (84th and O location) every Friday in February. We’ll be giving free coffee to all donors who donate blood between 7:00am-12:00pm on those days. 🩸☕️

I’m a huge fan of blood donation. There is always a need for it and it’s a quick and easy way to make a huge impact in someone’s life. The process is pretty simple and the staff at know what they’re doing every step of the way.

Check out their website, make sure you’re eligible, and schedule a donation. If you’re like me and you’re type O, A negative, or B negative, consider doing a double red cell donation and increase your impact. Make your appointment on a Friday morning and let me serve you a free coffee as a thank you for donating!

🚨surprise pop up alert 🚨

What’s better than a freezing temp winter garage sale? Literally nothing.

We’re having a mini garage sale this Sunday. There will be some men’s, women’s, and kids clothes, toys, shoes, books, and who knows what else I’m as surprised as you are. Even if you don’t want any of that, we’ll have the cart set up so swing by and get some good coffee in your hands.
