The UNL Dairy Store has been providing premium quality dairy products for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln since 1917. The Dairy Store sells our popular, handmade ice creams, meats, and cheeses from our East Campus location. We feature new ice cream flavors daily, and happy hour from 2:00-3:30. You can also visit us online at www.dairystore.unl.edu to order your Dairy Store favorites.

🚚🌽🧀 OFF TO WASHINGTON D.C.!

The UNL Dairy Store is incredibly excited and honored to participate in the 2026 “Scoops of Science” University Creamery Reception! US🍦

This morning, we shipped out our Sweet Corn Ice Cream and Husker Cheese to join dairy products from 21 university creameries across the nation, showcasing the creativity, agricultural innovation, and food science research happening at public and land-grant universities.

This opportunity would not have been possible without amazing teamwork and support behind the scenes. Special thanks to the UNL Department of Food Science and Technology and The Food Processing Center of Nebraska for their continued support in helping us share Nebraska dairy products beyond our state lines. ❤️🌽

Today at the UNL Dairy Store, a customer came in and used TWO gift certificates from 1990 — each worth 75¢ for ice cream. 🍦❤️

Moments like this remind us that UNL Dairy Store ice cream is more than just dessert — it’s memories, traditions, and connections shared across generations.

We are incredibly thankful for the continued support from our amazing customers throughout the years. Thank you to the leadership of the UNL Department of Food Science & Technology and the Nebraska Food Processing Center for their support and dedication in helping us continue making the delicious ice cream so many people grew up loving.
