Hi to all. It's me again. update on Jay, he is doing well, fighting hard to get some movements in his legs. Jay's spirits are good and he keeps very positive mostly. Thanks to everyone who came to our fundraiser sale. every dollar help pay Jays expenses. special thanks to those who just donated, it means a lot to us.
It's going to be a sun filled weekend so stop by Vivian's Restaurant and get your favorite breakfast or/and lunch. Eat here and watch the lake or get it to go and set up at the beach, or take a nice hike. Get out and enjoy and take some Vivian's with you.

Hi to all our friends and fantastic customers.
Well, I think we can open again at last. I know it's been awhile and you all miss our great food. I do also. I miss the skillet breakfast and the lovely made from scratch pancakes, our great thick sliced bacon, not to mention our great burgers and other lunch sandwiches. I miss our house smoked brisket and chicken. I know most of you miss our house smoked pork and pork ribs. They are really popular. Mostly though I miss all of you.
We have some wonderful employees who will be there to make you and serve you all your favorites from breakfast to lunch. Unfortunately, as much as I would like it to be me there it will not be. Jay still needs me as he still cannot lift himself. He is making some good progress; he can move his right knee finally after months of struggle. His left knee is moving well, and he can lift his left knee off the bed a little.
Our great thanks to all who bought items at our sale and donated money for the medical expenses. Its a long and expensive road we're on with Jay's recovery.
AGAIN, OPEN THIS FRIDAY, SATURDAY, SUNDAY starting at 9am until 2:30pm February 16th.
Please come and say hi to Laurie and Dwayne and leave a get well message for Jay, he enjoys them so much.

Hi to All,
Sorry I haven't posted more pictures but as I have said before computers and I are not friends. BIG FUND RAISER for Jay this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 10am to 4pm.
We have so many great items I wish I could get the pictures to load up for you. But there it is, the pictures have outsmarted me.
WE HAVE actual longhorn mounted horns that you would put on a wall. Great for that game room with the great big T.V. or maybe for the wall of that Father-in-Law -- you know the one. We have vintage dishes, glassware, Kitchen Aide with paddle, furniture, records, Coke Bottles, lot's of bottles, and more. We have saddles, corning ware pyrex, fire king. We have inexpensive items, great items, expensive item, Items for kids, in-laws, friends, bosses, people you don't like. We have so much.

Hi All. I have a long post to pass on to you all. Here is the update on Jay. He is doing okay. Jay's had a few set backs the last few weeks. We came close to losing him at Christmas time. He had a massive infection, 104 degree temp. My thanks to all the folks (Doctors, Nurses, Aides, etc.) at our local hospital. 5 days later he got to come home again. He is one tough Dude. He works hard most days, practicing his stretching and exercising. He is getting some movement in his knees, mostly on the left side. It's very depressing and hard to keep working and not seeing any movements so it's a great thing when we see his knees moving and sometimes his toes also.
On the next note - Thanks to all who came to our sale at the restaurant. Thank you to all who bought something and those who left a monetary donation. Everything helps and we so appreciate it all.
We are going to have another FUND RAISER for Jay. This is not a garage, yard, junk sale. Jay has been collecting treasurers for over 50 years and we are selling many vintage and collectables, including most of my "equine" collection. I also have been collecting for many years. I have horse items and statues from Sweden, Germany, Japan, England. 1 of my treasures is a hand carved full size Rocking Horse, made for me, about 20 years ago. It will hold at least 125 pounds and its a beauty. We have all price ranges and interest. We need to raise more money for Jay's medical supplies and bills. And also for another issue which has to do with getting the Restaurant back open. I will include some photos. I'll try to get more photos also.
THE SALE is this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, January 19th - 20th - 21st. PLEASE COME AND CHECK IT OUT and find that perfect item for your home, upscale vacation rental, best friend, gag gift for the boss, Bed and Breakfast, or that romantic gift for your beloved.

One last comment before I go. I know we said we were going to try to open again in January. Things got a little hectic for us. We will try to open in February but we will have to figure out how to get our supplies and products and the help. We are trying. Hang in there with us. All our best to all of you.
