Wednesday, August 27, we invite you to join us in honoring the life and legacy of Jonathan Stills, founder of Love Leads Us—and his belief that kindness and love have the power to transform our community and our world.

Stop into Milk and Honey Cafe tomorrow and sponsor a drink for someone else by purchasing a voucher for $3 or more. We’ll write the amount of your gift on the back and add it to our collection of vouchers for someone to randomly choose and redeem beginning the following day.

Your gift may brighten the day of a friend, a neighbor or someone you have never met. And that one small act of kindness may travel farther than any of us can imagine.

Wednesday, August 27, Milk and Honey Cafe will also donate a portion of the proceeds from every sponsored drink to Love Leads Us, helping to advance Jonathan’s mission of changing the world through daily acts of intentional kindness.

After four years, our snake plants have bloomed. This rarity is something most people never see!

Snake plants usually bloom only after they are mature and well established, often when their roots have filled the pot but are not too tight and they have experienced seasons of both dryness and nourishment.

It reminded me that growth doesn’t always come without challenges. Sometimes it comes from having deep roots, a little healthy pressure, and a safe place to grow.

When I opened Milk and Honey, I hoped it would be more than a coffee shop. I hoped it would be a place where people could pause, belong, and find a little kindness in the middle of whatever season they’re walking through.

If you’re in town, stop in and see this rare little bloom. It’s a quiet reminder that beautiful things often happen after long seasons of simply growing.
