Always missing my buddy Pete🥹
This was the last message on Pete’s sign that is still there today…….
If Pete were still here- I wonder what his sign would say now??
I remember another one he had put up before saying “Get US out of the UN”
This man was never shy on his words, or his jokes for that matter. Pete once said if he had to do all over again he would have kept a joke book for all the good ones that came through there. He said some of those jokes got many miles on them…….. if you remember a joke from him- please share!
He had a sign in the store that said “Welcome to Illinois- where our governor makes your license plates” I remember him saying “Who would have thought that I would have to add an ‘s’ to governor”
