Sooo much to say, and honestly at a loss for words, but they have been slowing coming to us over the last week. So much rain, but soooo many Rainbeaus. 🌈♥️ Here’s the smallest lil photo dump of some Rainbeaus this week, but it doesn’t even scratch the surface of all the good we’ve seen.
First off, how incredible are the people of Kaua’i?? The locals, the residents & even visitors/off islanders have held this island up over this past week & it is emotional to witness. The community has banded together to help feed, cloth, wash, fuel, support & cheer eachother on.
We want to give a huge thank to our friends & customers who have uplifted us with kind messages, calls, support & so much more. We are just blown away by the support. We recieved literally dozens upon dozens upon dozens of coffees bought thru our Brew Aloha Forward program from around the world to gift out to our Kaua’i Ohana. We will definitely be highlighting that more later… Aloha is prevalent on island, but it is beautiful to witness it spanning the globe.
A very special shout out to our small but mighty Unicorn crew. 🦄💖 Every single person on our team has been a light & a helping hand. On Wednesday 4 of our crew members with barely any notice signed up to serve our community out our back window giving out coffee & bagels. It was 105 degrees in the shop. One of them showed up to get coffee/support & ended working the whole shift. 😭 Another gifted us a generator to keep freezers on & then it went to another unicorn who hadn’t yet got power. One came in with no notice to help us prep to reopen after we got power. Another bought 10 coffees for anyone in need on island. They have also tirelessly washed, brewed & prepped over 100 mason jar cold brew donations for our heros kiuc, & fat-dook. All while going thru their own devastations outside of work. We are so, so grateful & don’t even know what we did to deserve the raddest crew in all the land. CONTINUED BELOW…
