Ok guys just a heads up for everyone, ever since we announced we are closing we have been SLAMMED- especially during peak lunch and dinner hours. If you are planning on coming tonight between 5PM and 7:30 please plan on 1hour to 1hour 30 minute wait times. We expect the same during lunch and dinner Saturday. Non-peak hours have been the same as usual.

Good Morning Licking and surrounding area. This week we have White Chicken Chili soup and Mixed Berry Cobbler for dessert.

Now for some good news and some bad news. The good news is that thanks in no small part to the prayers of many my father has improved enough to come home next week! This happened far sooner than we or anyone else expected. The bad news is that he is not able to be left by himself so we will need to be home to look after him.

That means this will be the last week The Merry Table will be open for the foreseeable future.

It’s been an honor and privilege to serve the good people of this area and the best part of the whole business has been those we have met along the way. But we have to honor and love God and my father above all things and that means The Merry Table will be closing. Thank you all so much for everything. We love you all!

On a business note if you or anyone you know has a Merry Table gift card that they are unable to use this week, please contact us via Facebook or phone and we will refund the amount left on your card.

Be sure to support our local Fire Department!

Someone has asked where the money will be going to. It will go to the Licking Fire Department Auxiliary to help them keep our firefighters fed & hydrated during fire calls that last several hours. We are also hoping, in the future, we can help buy items the firefighters need to do their jobs. The past several years the Fire Department has been fortunate to get some amazing grants to get all new fire turnout gear (most of the gear they had was out-of-date), new radios, new equipment to help with brush fires, new hoses and nozzles, signs and other miscellaneous items. We will have a display set up at the chili supper for people to see.

Good morning. It’s a little chilly this morning but don’t worry because we have Chili. It’s $7 a bowl due to the cost of beef. This is Texas style Chili with mostly meat and a few beans. The dessert this week is Red Velvet Cake 🎂. See you at the

My father Gary Brandon has had a stroke and is being flown to UMC Columbia for an operation. Prayers appreciated. We will be closed tomorrow. Love you all.

We are closed the rest of today and tomorrow due to an emergency.
