Long Shadows Gourmet Wine Dinner
Wednesday, May 20th – 7pm.
Long Shadows Vintners in Walla Walla is a Washington wine industry icon founded by legendary Chateau Ste. Michelle veteran Allen Shoup in 2002. His unique vision was to bring a team of all-star vintners to create a lineup of wines and wine styles that reflect the best attributes of the region. Under the direction of French winemaking import Gilles Nicault as Director of Winemaking, the team included names like Dunn, Huneeus, Melka, Duval, Rolland, Folonari, and Diel. Gilles produces these wines today, consistent with the original vision and style.
We first met Gilles at a small dinner with him and a few other industry veterans on my first trip to Washington State in April of 2023. Fascinated by the Long Shadow story, we stayed in contact and visited Gilles at the winery in September of 2024. Being an ideal candidate for a gourmet wine dinner and our favorite WA winery, we are more than thrilled to host this event on May 20th. We will be joined by VP of Sales for Long Shadows, Colin Cornett to create a most memorable evening.

Shaved Fennel & Citrus Salad - orange, grapefruit, fennel, pistachio, olive oil, herbs paired with 2024 Long Shadows Poet’s Leap Riesling
Course 2
Squid Ink Linguine with Crab & Lemon - lump crab, garlic, chili, lemon butter paired with 2021 Long Shadows Pedestal Merlot
Course 3
Lamb T-Bones Scottadito - grilled, rosemary, lemon, olive oil, sea salt paired with 2021 Long Shadows Feather Cabernet Sauvignon
Course 4
Olive Oil Cake with Amarena Cherries & Mascarpone Cream - citrus olive oil cake, macerated amarena cherries, lightly sweet mascarpone cream, toasted pistachio paired with 2021 Long Shadows Pirouette Red Blend
