FYI... I keep forgetting to share. Conrad’s has tamales again. They are just chicken in sauce like the pork. I’m not sure if they are a little different than the ones we made. I know Manny helped. They should still have some. These are NOT Sarah’s Tamales.

Well... it finally happened... La Tienda Tamales at Conrad’s this Tuesday.... you probably should call and order ahead.

Manny is working on his Tamales!! They will be on SPECIAL on Tuesday, April 7 for Curbside Carry-Out!

I will provide more information later when I am able... but as of over the weekend Manny and I are no longer affiliated with Locos Grill & Cantina. The owner has made a decision which does not include us. We will keep you posted on where we land next.

This is an edited update... we are classy people, so while others sling mud and give bad reviews, please don’t feel the need to do that on our behalf. La Tienda peeps are better than that. You guys are the best fans around... we know you love us and that’s all we need.

Anyone wondered what I have been up to since about the middle of July??? No ladies... Manny still isn't single...

It's a rather unusual story, so let's just say, Manny and I are collaborating with another family in a bar and grill adventure.
So if you are in the Kansas City North Oak and Barry Road area, stop in and check out the NEW MENU this Thursday at the current Draft Pick (240 NE Barry Rd, KC, MO). A name change may be in the future. The menu is NOT 100% La Tienda, but you will see our strong influence.

A joint effort from 2 crazy families the Acebedos and the Villasecas. Our dishes are inspired from our families and friends. Heavily influenced with Mexican homestyle dishes, creative license and just good American bar and grill food.We hope you enjoy them as much as we do!
