🧡 IT’S TIME TO REINTRODUCE OURSELVES! 🖤
We’ve welcomed so many new faces to our page lately, and since we just celebrated FOUR YEARS OF MUNCH, we thought this was the perfect time to say hello again! 👋🏾
We’re Bakaffa, Crystal & Kennedy- the family behind Munch Munch Waffles & More! 🧇
Our story started long before we opened our doors here in Liberty Hill. During our Army family days overseas, Crystal found a love for cooking while feeding military families and supporting military fundraisers. When our family moved to Washington, that love continued — cooking for friends, sharing food, and eventually taking a leap of faith and starting our Munch Munch food truck.
That food truck eventually brought us to Texas, and in 2022 we opened the doors to our brick-and-mortar home right here in Liberty Hill. 🧡
And yes, there really is a Munch Munch! 🥰 Munch Munch is Crystal’s nickname for our daughter, Kennedy. This restaurant is part of the legacy we’re building for her and a reminder of what can happen when you mix family, faith, hard work and a dream.
Four years later, we’re still doing what we love — serving scratch-made food inspired by our family, our travels and our Southern roots. And we’re still growing and trying new things! From Brunch with Munch and seasonal menus to catering and our new Munch After Dark Supper Club, we’re excited to see where this journey takes us next.
Most importantly, THANK YOU to everyone who has been part of our story. Whether you found us at the food truck, have been coming through our doors since we opened, recently discovered us, brought your family and friends, shared our posts or simply told someone, “You have to try Munch!” — your support means more to our family than you know. 🧡
