Today is the DAY!!
City wide yard sales...special events and vendors are set up at Jay Lous, located next to the Flower Cart.

The Flower Cart is serving breakfast as well as lunch today!

These go really good together! Noodles, mashed potatoes, and a homemade hot roll... It's what's for lunch at Mary's Flower Cart Cafe every Thursday. (Psssttt.... today is Thursday. I am sure someone is reading this saying "what is today?lol)

I had a Flower Cart BREAKFAST BOWL for breakfast yesterday and thought "We should have this for lunch". So...today we are. I created the Flower Cart breakfast bowl years ago when I couldn't decide what I wanted for breakfast...Eggs? Bacon or sausage? But I love sauteed peppers and onions.....and cheese and gravy....That is when I threw it all together and enjoyed the results. Since then, I've noticed there are many forms of it on different menus....but we have our own version! Try it today....843-3453.

The recipe called it STRAWBERRY PRETZEL SALAD. It looked like dessert to me.
My co-worker said "Oh, we make that at home."
"Do you serve it as a salad or dessert?"
"We serve it as a fruit."
"I think fruit can be salad or dessert."
I'm still struggling with its name. I still think it's dessert....cuz I've never had lettuce that tasted this good!
