SUNDAY EVENING UPDATE + A LITTLE FUN!

It's like the Bat Signal, but ya know, for Detroit Pizza 😎 If you see the light on, then the ovens on too!

Awesome weekend, so much awesome feedback, this Friday went better than last Friday but still trying to nail down some efficiency details. So same hours this week, just going to get better and better. With our 4th weekend coming up, there just might be a little reveal coming, we will see! 😉

I have always absolutely loved pizza. I could never have enough. If you went back 3 years ago and told me I would be making pizza, I would never have believed you. I only started cooking a year ago so I could be more helpful in the home with Mrs. O'Connor working so hard at The Yummy Cakery. I really found a passion in something I never knew I had and here we are.

SATURDAY MORNING UPDATE!

The sun might not be shining but the cupcakes and pizza sure are!
Last night went much better than previous Friday, but still far from perfect. Working hard at learning every efficient maneuver, because it kills me when people are waiting longer than they should. I promise I will get better and better every single week! I feel so much pride and gratefulness when I read these reviews, seriously.

The online ordering system works super well at the efficiency. If you want to put in notes an earlier time, I will try my best to do so, but no guarantees! Thank you everyone and have a wicked awesome Saturday!

WICKED WINNER(S)!

So I said we are doing a free pizza giveaway, and if we hit 1000 followers, we would throw in a second one. As of this post, we are at 988! I was told several times I'm too nice during my FTO phase of policing, and I'm OK with that 😊. ALSO, tomorrow marks the two year anniversary of my family moving down to SC, so we are all celebrating with that extra pizza! Without further ado!

SUNDAY NIGHT UPDATE + A LITTLE SOMETHING EXTRA!

Sunday went fastastic. Orders flowed and no one had to wait, which I loved. I always try to line up the pizzas with so you are getting the freshest, best tasting pizza possible, because that's what you deserve.

Extending Sunday to 6pm next week as a trial! If it's busy from 5-6, it will be permanent!

I had a couple from Detroit, MI come back in for more pizza because it "reminded them so much of home", and that is so rad (yes, I'm showing my age 😂)!

So I was going to do a giveaway once I hit 803 followers since that's a special number here... But you guys went right past it! So comment a food that always reminds you of home, tag someone, and we will do a FREE pizza giveaway next weekend, drawing at 8pm Thursday night! Saturday Evening Update!!

First off, you guys are too awesome. The support shown online and in person is beyond incredible. I may be from Massachusetts, but I am so proud to call South Carolina our home 😊😊😊

Second, I learned Lexington and Columbia LOVE meatball. I love meatball. I didn't anticipate how much you love meatballs though, so I'm out! I will make sure to prep double for next week!

Third, I have 40 doughs prepped for tomorrow! I highly recommend doing online ordering, worked amazing. Also having the time limit FIXED was amazing, as there were no waits.

I hope everyone has a good night, whoever you are rooting for football does well tomorrow (unless you a Jags fan, Patriots gotta have that one! 😂), and we get to do this all again next week! Good night!

SATURDAY MORNING UPDATES!

Ordering system completely fixed, thank goodness, that was a rough learning lesson.

Felt the Motor City Heat deserved more heat, fresh batch with a little more 🔥

Today's number is 50 pizzas, if we sell out before closing I will post on here and will have a sign for the door. I could not comment here, but to the gentleman and his wife that came, I promise I did not see you and would have gladly explained we sold out of everything at that point. I hope you will give us another chance, and would strongly encourage using the online ordering (finally fixed!) to secure an order. First Friday down and..... Wow. The system that was supposed to cap time frames was not capping time frames, causing a massive amount of 5:45 and 6:00pm pick ups. I apologize to anyone that had to wait extra, I promise I am currently checking to make sure that works properly! But we sold out completely, which was awesome! Thank you to everyone who came in, I hope your Wicked Pizza was delicious!
