The Sweet Things family is heartbroken with the passing of Lexington Mayor Frank Friedman. We extend our deepest condolences to his children, family and friends. Frank supported our business and brought many friends and colleagues to enjoy our ice cream. Frank, you’ll be ALWAYS loved, FOREVER missed, and NEVER forgotten.

We encourage everyone to embrace the words of Tom Carroll, Lexington City Manager: "Please honor Frank by trying to be a bit more like him even as we grieve. Hug a loved one. Greet a stranger on Main Street with a hearty ‘Good morning’ or ‘Good afternoon.’ Offer grace to another person who is saying something you disagree with. Look for the best in each other. Continue to serve our wonderful community."
