Yesterday, we had the pleasure of catering the 18th Annual Green Tie Awards for the Conservation Voters of South Carolina at 701 Whaley.

Having catered this event for several years running, we switched things up this time with a "South Carolina Trail Guide" theme that carried guests across the state. The buffet trail started at the coast with house-made breads, including pimento cheese drop biscuits and stuffed focaccia, alongside a Lowcountry Southern Caesar salad. Guests then journeyed inland through our salad stations—goat cheese smashed potato salad, late-harvest heirloom tomato and cucumber, and Carolina pasta salad—before finishing in the Upstate with orecchiette and cheddar gratin, roasted beef with peach mostarda, and chicken and apple meatballs.

A special thank you to Twist Bartending SC for flawless beverage service and 701 Whaley for being one of our favorite spaces to work in Columbia.

Congrats to Nicole and Events by Snow (Kevin) on their wedding! Their venue Twelve Oak Estate was the perfect setting for a beautiful night of dancing and singing and, of course, great food.

Setting the table at the Governor’s Mansion. Highlights included pickled shrimp, carved meats, crab-cakes, and bite-sized sandwiches on house-baked focaccia.

Free Times Best Of! It's the coolest, biggest, grandest party of the year and we're lucky enough to have had catering it become a tradition. While we're BIG MAD we didn't win Best Catering (we're looking into legal action) we'll take showing up and showing out at free times as prize enough.

This year was sports themed, so obviously our thoughts went to locker rooms and Ancient Greece. Check out these scandalous photos!

Thanks to South Carolina State Museum for a gorgeous venue and Twist Bartending SC for keeping the drinks flowing. Shout out to WAS Design Works for help with the design—Andrew is seriously one of the best in town.

The South Carolina State Museum honored renowned naturalist Rudy Mancke a few weeks ago. Mancke was a South Carolina legend, serving as a curator for the museum's natural history department and educating the public as the host of nature programs on ETV and South Carolina Public Radio. We had a great time remembering Rudy with a buffet befitting his passion.

We catered the glamorous Star Awards this month! While they honored the best of local broadcasting we honored the stars of the silver screen with an Old Hollywood-inspired menu.

We got to do several different buffets over the course of the day for the SC Bar Association. Making three different tablescapes appear in between talks feels like a magic trick. The theme was a patriotic cook-out, so we broke out the grills!

Our wonderful event coordinator at the corley mill house Allie and her husband Topher had a Summerween baby shower! We're so lucky to get to work with her and she of course proved it by giving us the gift of crafting a spooky buffet in the middle of July, because she knows what we like. Thank you Allie and congrats!

Remember when we did a MAGIC MIRROR for the Trustus Theatre An Evening in The Woods gala? It was an honor to support such an important part of Columbia's art scene.
