I had hoped to avoid taking any price increases until after the new year. Unfortunately, rising food costs forced us to move up the timeline. The decision to raise prices is hard. Being a small-town restaurant, I have to balance keeping things affordable to our local community while staying in the black. The price increases represent the bare minimum needed to break even with our food and operational costs. As the owner, I have never taken a salary from the restaurant. I didn't go into this business to "make money". This restaurant has always been about giving my family a flexible workspace to do what they love, and that is to cook good food and talk.

I am working on getting the menu updated with the new prices. I should have those updated and published by the end of next week. Until then, if you have any questions about the price of any item, feel free to ask when placing the order. I appreciate every type of support that keeps us in business, whether that be an order, spreading the word, or a prayer. Without you, there would be no Sterling Place.
