Welcome to “The Whole Scoop”! We are thrilled to announce a local family is the new owner of the former “Bj’s Dairy Treat”. We are excited to carry on with recent and longtime owners, Russell and Barbara Angell’s, 26 years of success. We have many plans and ideas in the works to ensure “The Whole Scoop” is a go-to destination for families, teams, kids and groups. We look forward to serving both lo

ngtime and new customers alike. The “The Whole Scoop” is located at 1459 Sabattus Street, Lewiston, Maine. At “The Whole Scoop”, you will be sure to get great service with a smile from our friendly scoopers and scrumptious food from our take-out window. At our ice cream windows we will offer a huge selection of old-fashion, homemade hard serve ice cream with our own freshly baked ingredients. In addition to hard serve, we will also offer soft serve ice cream, sundaes, shakes, cyclones, no-sugar added flavors, sorbets, sherbets, frozen yogurt and many more selections of frozen treat choices. Our take-out window will offer many menu options, some of which will include the freshest Maine seafood and 100% all beef burgers and homemade chowders. Stop in for a quick bite or enjoy a Maine seafood dinner with fresh cut potatoes fries and homemade coleslaw on our spacious back lawn. We have plenty of seating at our outdoor picnic area or relax on the swings. The kids will have lots of fun climbing and swinging in the kid’s playground area. Well, another ice cream season is behind us! We're sure going to miss all your familiar faces this winter, lets hope its a short one! I couldn't have survived this season without our wonderful staff. Thank you so much to each and every one of you. You girls are rockstars! Thank you so much for a wonderful season and we will see you all again next year!

The weather looks great and we still have icecream so we're going to be open tomorrow from 2-7 pm!! All soft serve will be 1/2 off including pints and quarts! This is a great opportunity to stock up for the winter and a huge savings $$$!!

Alot of people have been asking when we plan on closing. The answer to that question isn't exact but will most likely be close to this coming Sunday. We still have lots of homemade hardserve as well as Vanilla, Chocolate and Pumpkin soft serve. We will be opening this week at 1pm and closing at 7pm. Still plenty of time to stop in and get some of your favorites or stock up on quarts for the winter.
