There are so many things to enjoy as this week comes to an end. Whether it is a sunshine and 85-degree day, the company of loved ones or exceptional dinner and hospitality at Rare Steak and Seafood!

This weekend’s specials:
• Appetizer: Chef’s Scallops — Three jumbo blackened scallops served over a silky lemon-saffron cream sauce, finished with pickled red onions and fresh microgreens.
• Entrée: Flat Iron Steak — Perfectly grilled and sliced 10 oz flat iron steak served over garlic-parmesan risotto with roasted rainbow carrots, topped with a Cajun lobster cream sauce with shrimp.
• Catch of the Day: Pan-Roasted Grouper — Served over saffron rice with sautéed jumbo lump crab, cherry tomatoes, spinach, and cannellini beans in a white w**e garlic-butter sauce.

There are so many ways to measure the success of our very first Monday Prime & Tide night at Rare Steak and Seafood — from a full dining room to Alex’s sleepless night waiting to ensure that prime rib turned out phenomenal! Seeing our incredible kitchen crew working side-by-side to plate delicious dinners, hearing servers share rave reviews from guests, and ultimately seeing "Prime Rib" marked 86’d at the end of the night said it all.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who joined us or plan to come in the future for making Rare’s Prime & Tide night part of your dinner plans. Thank you for your support, for helping us gauge demand, and for sharing such wonderful feedback as we embark on this new adventure!

One of the biggest requirements of hospitality is listening to our guests. Meeting each of your expectations and needs is always our ultimate goal.

To many of you, it won’t be a surprise when you hear this, but one of our most frequent complaints (availability) is a menu item that gets the most praise: our amazing Prime Rib. It is so popular that guests dining at later hours often have to hear from others just how good it was!

Because true Prime Rib is only at its best when slow-cooked overnight for that evening’s service, availability will always be limited.

Starting this Monday, September 28th, we will be offering Prime Rib as our featured daily special.

Some might call it a day off, but last night was so much more. Our first of many Employee Appreciation Party was a night of team building, appreciation, celebration, recharging, and truly connecting.

We are so grateful to the Gosnear family for being the absolute best hosts, and to everyone who joined us to share in the laughter, joy, delicious food, and great drinks!

We are fully energized and ready for the off-season. We look forward to bonding with our local community, helping you celebrate your biggest moments, and welcoming each of you in for a Rare dining experience.

Our first summer season is in the history books — and what an incredible journey it has been. Thank you to each and every one of you.

To honor the dedication and hard work of our team, Rare Steak and Seafood will be 🔒CLOSED🔒 on Monday, September 21st, for our very first 🎉Employee Appreciation Party!🎉 This will be a day for us to connect outside of work, celebrate our accomplishments, and strengthen the bonds that allow us to always have each other's backs.

Greetings, Rare Family, and Happy Labor Day!

Sorry for a long one…

As we are saying goodbye to this summer, we wish to say THANK YOU.
First, thank you to each one of you – the amazing and supportive community who believes in us, the curious tourists, and the night strangers attracted by our sign. Now, you are all our family: a family which gives us energy, confidence, creativity, and joy.
Second, thank you to each one of us – OUR TEAM. None of this success would be possible without your hard work, dedication, passion, determination, focus, learning, sacrifice, sweat, and tears. We made it through the summer, and we are strongly entering the fall. Fall is just a season. We have each other's backs, so we never fall.
Third, thank you to all vendors, contractors, landlords, advisors, and professionals. Your behind-the-scenes work is a tremendous part of this great journey.

We were able to attract many great talents to our team, who will continue to make your dinner decisions challenging with daily specials, while your dining experience will continue to feel like a home away from home with knowledge, care, and a personal touch from our front of the house. Greetings, Rare Family!
Over the past few months, you have inspired our team to not only perfect our main menu, but to get creative with our daily and weekly specials.
Last night, we were lucky enough to taste some incredible tomato and peach focaccia made by Marjorie and Ken, followed by a delicious Oreo cheesecake baked by Ellen and Mark. We are so honored that our guests share their talents — and most importantly, their precious time with us. Thank you!
Since so many of you have asked, we are strongly considering hosting few cooking classes during the offseason where we can all learn from each other! Stay tuned for details.
