Like many New Yorker’s,
we at Green Street feel the heaviness of today in remembrance of all those who lost their lives on 9/11. This year hits harder than most for us personally, as we remember our dear friend John Lynch. John passed away last month having only been diagnosed in February with a 9/11 related brain cancer. John was a selfless man who spent 10 months at ground zero in the aftermath of 9/11, which sadly took him from us too soon. We send our deepest sympathies to his loving wife Nancy, his family & friends. We remember his life as one of service to others, fundraising for cancer research for decades & spending his retirement upstate volunteering at Broome Animal Sanctuary. His love for live was infectious & we feel his loss deeply. 💔

We’re coming together to help provide local Long Island kids in need with the supplies they need to start the school year off strong. ✏️🎒
