🌿 Celebrating Indigenous Peoples’ Day 🌿

🌾Today, we honor the rich cultures, traditions, knowledge, and lasting contributions of Indigenous peoples. Their deep connection to the land teaches us the importance of caring for the earth and supporting the places where we grow.

🌾Across our region, foods such as corn, beans, squash, berries, herbs, and root vegetables nourish families and bring communities together. These foods are more than sources of nourishment—they carry history, cultural meaning, and traditional knowledge passed down through generations.

🌾At Growing Places, we are proud to support local agriculture, honor Indigenous traditions, and celebrate the foods that connect us to one another and to the land. May we continue learning, growing, and working together to protect these traditions for future generations.
