The Blasian Grilled Cheese is BACK! — and we're sharing the story! 🔥❤
Grilled sourdough stacked with smoked chicken, cheddar, pepper jack, black pepper whiskey bacon, and our house-made Blasian (Blazin) sauce: Asian flair with a Southern kick. Sweet, spicy, smoky, and bold in all the right ways.
This sandwich was originally created for Chris Harling, one of our very first dishwashers, who inspired the name and the flavors behind it. Chris was always experimenting in the kitchen, bringing creativity, personality, and a whole lot of flavor to everything he did. For his 16th birthday, Jim created a sandwich inspired by Chris’ Black, Asian, and North Carolina heritage — and the staff loved it so much, it became a menu favorite for nine years.
After a little time away, Chris stopped by recently and inspired us to bring it back. This sandwich was, and always will be, Chris’ sandwich.
