It’s a beautiful Labor Day Weekend here in Downtown Lenoir.
It has become a little overcast but with the Carolina Tattoo and Arts Gathering going on, Foothills Performing Arts play showing for its last weekend, there Is so much going on that you just shouldn’t miss. We also have Vintage Vault above us on the third floor open today and the Sawmills Cruisers Cruise-in happening at 3:00 at Sawmills Municipal Park(Baird Park).

Enjoy chili, cornbread and hot cider, pumpkin painting, costumes, music, photo opportunities and more, including a costume contest at 6:30 PM!

Event festivities include:

• Pumpkin painting and decorating
• Fun photo opportunities in your pink Halloween attire
• Music, laughter, and meaningful connections
• Tour The Wig Bank of Caldwell County and access women's health information and local wellness resources.

This free community event is designed to inspire, educate, and celebrate the resilience of women everywhere. Whether you come for the fellowship, the festivities, or the cause, you'll leave with a fuller heart and a stronger connection to your community.

A great big thank you to everyone for your patience and understanding these past couple of weeks!

With one cook out sick for several weeks, another one on vacation, and our new staff being trained, we’ve been a little stretched in the kitchen. Thank goodness, Vickie put on an apron and jumped in to cook and manage things, and she did a fantastic job! We pulled team members from all corners of the restaurant to help.

We know some wait times were longer than usual, and we sincerely apologize. Thankfully, we’re on the mend, our new team members are settling in, and we’re still working to strengthen our grill staff.
