We are a family owned business serving Caldwell County for over 30 years. A classic walk up service window where you order your food and its prepared, as you wait. Our restaurant has the honor of being Voted by the people of Caldwell County as having the Best Hot Dogs and Best Hamburgers in The County. We
have also been voted Best Sandwich, Best Dessert and Best Ice Cream. We have held the title for Best Hot Dog & Best Hamburger for many years though, through a poll taken by The News Topic & we take pride in the fact that our community appreciates us and the job we do! We are also known as "Home of The Jumbo", our main signature sandwich. It is 2 hamburgers served with 2 melted slices of cheese, warm chili, a taste of mustard & ketchup, chopped onions and topped off with leafy green lettuce, slice of tomato and true southern mayonaise, Dukes. All this is served on a hearty seeded bun. Be sure you brought your bib! We use fresh hamburger meat, pattied out everyday and made to order when you place your order. Or, if one of our #1 hamburgers or hotdogs isn't what your craving, we have delicious chopped and sliced barbeque mouthwatering sandwiches prepared with our very own slaw, we make ourselves. The Icey Freeze also offers several choices in deep fried sandwiches such as fish, chuckwagon, livermush or chicken. If you wish for something a little healthier, we offer a delicious grilled chicken breast sandwich or chicken salad or ham sandwich. When you smell onion rings or french fries cooking, you won't be able to resist ordering yourself some either. Or, get you a hearty order of chili cheese fries or tater tots. Make sure you get an extra large cup of refreshing sweet tea to wash it all down. But don't leave our parking lot before you get one of our sweet & tasty frozen desserts. A banana split, a hot fudge cake or a Chocolate Nut Sundae all are Yummy!!! Or try a cone of Hershey's Gourmet Dip Black Cherry, Butter Pecan or, if needed, Sugar-Free ice cream because they will all tempt the taste buds and finish off this yummy meal, just right!
