As the leaves turn, so does our chapter for the year. Thank you to everyone who joined us on our last days.

​From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for making this season our best one yet. We cherished every coffee served, laugh shared, sweet treat enjoyed.

​As we close, we’re actively searching for the right person or business to take over this wonderful space and continue bringing great things to the community.

​Will Great Lakes Chocolate & Cafe be back next summer? We genuinely don't know yet! Until then, please keep following us for updates on the space's future.

We are actively seeking an enthusiastic individual or group to take over our current commercial lease and purchase the assets of our store. This means a new business could soon take root in this prime spot!

​Don't fret! While we are closing the Leland location, we are absolutely not going anywhere! You can still find and support us at our flagship store in Traverse City, and we ship our delicious products anywhere in the US from our website. Please keep following our journey!

Dear Leland Community,

​We must pause our Leland operations starting at the end of October. We need to step back and focus entirely on our family's health and the long-term stability of our Traverse City location.

​Our Leland location will close for the season at the end of October. (Exact date will be announced soon.) Our kitchen will continue to be closed for breakfast & lunch. We will focus on coffee, baked goods, desserts and chocolate until closed officially.

​We are actively searching for an entrepreneur to take over our lease. This is a potential turnkey opportunity, and a lease takeover would allow us to prioritize our family and our Traverse City business.

​Please help us spread the word! If you know of anyone looking for a prime business location in Leland, please connect them with us immediately.

​Though our time here was brief, we appreciate all the new connections we made along the way and share in your love for dessert & great coffee.
