Cooper is one of the strongest kids I know. He faces every challenge with courage, and through it all, he’s taken such an active role in his epilepsy journey.
After a lot of hard conversations and even harder decisions, we’ve made the decision to move forward with neurosurgery at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHoP). Boston Children’s has been amazing to us, and we will always be grateful for the care and support they’ve given Cooper. This was not an easy decision, but Cooper has helped lead us here too.
We go back to CHoP on Thursday for more testing, and then he’ll be scheduled for his two-part surgery. We’re taking it one step at a time, with a whole lot of hope and faith.
And Cooper claims his newfound love of Philly cheesesteaks had absolutely nothing to do with the decision… but I mean, he is my son 🤣

Another really good weekend started with my awesome neighbors in Franklin at the farmers market ended on Father’s Day with the hot iron dust up in Charlton.
