PSA: Setting the Record Straight! 😇
The rumor mill is buzzing with a thousand different stories, so it is time to get the facts straight from the horse's mouth! 😂
First and foremost, praise the Lord for His blessings! He has officially answered my family's prayers concerning HEbrews Cafe.
Those who know me and my family know we have been blessed to wear many hats. I have personally been juggling three and a half businesses while wearing my absolute favorite hats as a wife and a mama. On top of that, the Lord has allowed me to act as a teacher to one of my greatest blessings—our son.
Yes, it is a lot! However, I have been incredibly blessed with amazing family, friends, and employees who help keep everything running successfully.
Most of you know that we have had HEbrews on the market for about two years. We have been waiting on God's timing and, just as importantly, God's chosen couple to pass the torch to. We feel as if we may now have both!
While it is not completely finalized, we are feeling very confident that we are entering into God's perfect timing with the next team.
⚠️ PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE STILL OPEN and we are still HEbrews Cafe until everything is official. Once finalized, there will be another announcement to let you know when the transition will happen. You still have plenty of time to come see us!
What torch are we passing? The very one that continues to share the gospel and the good news of Jesus Christ. As I have always stated, that is truly ALL that matters in the end.
It has been an absolute honor to serve my hometown and the surrounding communities for the past seven-plus years. Sharing Jesus Christ while serving delicious food has been a passion of mine for a long time. I am incredibly grateful that our Creator and all of you have allowed me the opportunity to serve Him and you.
With that said, I am deeply thankful that this chapter of my life is coming to a beautiful close so I can focus on the next season! Honestly, friends, my family and I have been praying for this for a while.
While I don't know all the details of what comes next, I do know this:
1. I am called to focus on being a daughter of the King.
2. I am called to focus on being the wife He called me to be.
3. I am called to focus on being the mother He miraculously allowed me to become.
I am certain that throughout this next season, He will allow me to continue serving others in His name through local mission work and fundraisers.
I want you all to know how grateful I am for everyone who has ever eaten with us or supported our local fundraisers. I am so blessed to have such an amazing support system.
A very special, heartfelt thank you goes to my husband, mama, stepdad, Aunt, and cousin for ALL of the unpaid hard work and love they poured into HEbrews Cafe over the years. To our son that has sacrificed his time with me and shared me with you all.
I am also incredibly grateful for my staff and their dedication. And guess what? If this finalizes, our awesome staff stays in place, along with some of your favorite recipes!
Now, I understand I might get some unnecessary responses to this post. I realize I am not everyone's "cup of tea"—mainly because of my bold stance for Jesus Christ and the way I fight to educate our town concerning explosive development. GUESS WHAT? That is okay too! It is completely fine to disagree. The issue in our world today isn't disagreeing; it's that people can't agree to disagree without getting hateful. If you feel the need to bring negativity and hate to this post go right ahead. I will just add you to my prayer list by name.
For the majority of you, this will be a bittersweet post. You might be sad to see this season end, but I know you will rejoice with me that our prayers have been answered. I am so excited to have more time to be Jesus's child, John's wife, and JJ's mommy!
I love you, Batesburg-Leesville and surrounding towns—even those who didn't always agree with me. But DON'T miss the most important point: Jesus loves you the most. You WILL meet our Creator one day, regardless of where you stand on His truths. My deepest prayer is that His resurrecting power and life-changing truths reach you before your time on this earth is done, so you can spend eternity in heaven versus eternity in hell.
