A Big Announcement — and a Big Thank You
This March, LoCo Beans, Inc. is doing something we’ve never done before.
We’re donating 100% of gross House Blend sales — every single dollar — to A Farm Less Ordinary (AFLO) as part of their GiveChoose Campaign.
Not profit. Not a percentage. Every dollar from every bag of our House Blend sold in March 2026 goes directly to AFLO.
AFLO’s mission — creating meaningful employment for adults with intellectual, developmental, and/or cognitive disabilities — is one we believe in deeply. But it’s also one that hits close to home.
When we opened LoCo Beans in 2012, we were a single-origin-only shop. No blends. Then, during our soft opening, a young employee named Ian Pham did something spontaneous: he mixed Brazilian and Ethiopian green beans together. What happened was magic. That happy accident became our House Blend — the coffee that has been one of our most beloved offering and one of our strongest sellers for over a decade.
Ian was one of the earliest employees of LoCo Beans and has since moved on to become a grower at AFLO. This campaign is, in part, our way of honoring that spirit — the idea that something unexpected and beautiful can emerge when you give people the chance to create.
So this March, every time you enjoy a cup of our House Blend, you’re not just tasting the coffee blend that started it all. You’re helping build a world where more people get the chance to contribute something remarkable.
