The same sourdough, the same weight, just a different pan. My long loaf and my round boule. In our household we prefer the long ones for sandwiches and they're easier to cut. It's up to you which one you prefer. Both shapes are this afternoon with brownies.

A small heads up to my wheat-free sourdough aficionados, I am changing the sourcing on a couple of my flours. The buckwheat flour in particular will change the aesthetic of the bread slightly. It will be darker. In the past I've used a darker buckwheat flour as well.The bread still tastes just as delicious but will show more beautiful grain characteristics. The one obstacle of this sourdough is sourcing high quality ingredients in prices that still make loaves accessible. Thank you for your continued business!

Sourdough gone wild 😜. If you've never witnessed the explosive power of sourdough and sourdough starter, let's just say my kitchen ceiling signed in NDA years ago.🀣 Never had my gluten-free starter go quite so wild though. Apparently it's happy. I typically let things proof in the microwave overnight during the winter because it keeps the temperature more consistent and keeps everything happier. Note to self as I've just spent the last 45 minutes cleaning out the microwave and burning off the now burnt toast smell of cooking starter. I might have to rethink that practice. Fresh bread tomorrow Vernon Family Farm.
