The doors are open, the tables are set, and another season at Mono Inn has begun.

We are now serving our Early Summer Tasting Menu, inspired by the ingredients, landscapes, and fleeting moments that make this season in the Eastern Sierra so extraordinary.

Each course reflects the work of remarkable farmers, ranchers, fishermen, artisans, and producers whose dedication to their craft makes our menus possible. Their commitment to quality, stewardship, and excellence is at the heart of every guest experience we create.

A new month is coming…a fresh start, and a quiet sense of excitement has been building behind the scenes at Mono Inn.

Over the past several months, we’ve been pouring our energy into every detail, refining, reimagining, and preparing for the upcoming season of dining.

In just one week, on Friday, June 5th, we will reopen our doors, and we cannot wait to welcome you back.

From the first hello to the final moments of service, every element has been thoughtfully considered as we continue our pursuit of creating memorable experiences overlooking Mono Lake.

Thank you for your patience during our winter closure and for allowing us the time to prepare for what promises to be a beautiful season ahead.

As the year draws to a close, we want to pause and say thank you… 🙏🏼

To our incredible guests. To everyone who gathered at our table. To our community. To the conversations, celebrations, and shared meals that shaped this past year.

While winter settles over Mono Lake and the days grow quieter and colder, our hearts have been deeply warmed by each and every interaction with you. Your presence, kindness, curiosity, and trust have made this season truly special.

This year also held moments of deep challenge and profound gratitude. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the first responders whose courage and tireless efforts quite literally saved our everything. Your service and care for this place we call home will never be forgotten.

We also want to acknowledge the loss of beloved family this year. Their absence is deeply felt, and their love remains woven into the fabric of Mono Inn. The compassion, patience, and understanding shown to us during this time brought comfort and helped soften the weight of grief in ways words cannot fully hold.

For over 100 years, Mono Inn has always been more than a restaurant. It is a place of gathering, nourishment, memory, and connection, brought to life by the people who walk through our doors and share in its story.

As we turn the page on the year, we do so with reverence and gratitude for what has been and genuine excitement for what lies ahead. While we are closed for our seasonal winter break, much is unfolding behind the scenes as we imagine, create, and prepare for our return.

🎄As we head into our final two weekends of service for the season we wanted to share a few important updates before our last dinner service on 12/29:

• Tonight through Monday night are the last available Winter Tasting Menu reservations of the season, and are very limited

• Reservations for the Winter Tasting Menu for the weekend of 12/26 are SOLD OUT and currently waitlisted only
 • This weekend, all weekend is your final chance to enjoy our bar menu before we close for winter

Please note: the bar menu will not be offered during our final weekend.

Friday Night Science Club, a new monthly adventure for young explorers. 🔬🧪

Each session features a fresh theme with
hands-on experiments, arts and crafts, and immersive discovery for kids in grades K through 8, all in a safe and community-centered setting. Meanwhile, parents enjoy a much-deserved night off.

Sliding Scale Registration  Pay what works for your family. Every young scientist is welcome (registration ranges from $25 to $150).

A Little Extra for Parents To celebrate the launch, families with enrolled Science Club kids will receive 20% off their dinner bill the same evening (excluding alcohol). Enjoy a beautifully prepared meal while your child learns, creates, and explores.

We are so grateful for all our guests, friends, and family who have supported us these last five years.

To the farmers, ranchers, fishermen, and amazing purveyors who supply us with the beautiful ingredients that we compose our menus from- thank you for doing it the right way and creating a more sustainable and responsible food system we are proud to be part of.

Our team at enjoyed a well deserved day with family, and we’re excited to welcome you back this weekend.
 We’ll be open Friday through Monday evenings from 5 pm, with our last service of the season before winter break on December 29, 2025.
