A little Dez Taco behind-the-scenes story for y’all 😂🌮🚤

My boy decided he wanted to enter a model Dez Taco boat in the Lebanon Art Guild art contest, so we got to work! We had a bunch of leftover supplies around the house from building the real Dez Taco boat, so we figured we’d turn some of that stuff into a little piece of Dez Taco. 😂

We even made a trip over to Bruce Rosier shop. Bruce is the one who painted the real Dez Taco boat exactly how I wanted it and made all of my signs, and he’s also the one who made the stickers for the boat. He helped us get the stickers ready so the boys could make the model look just like the real Dez Taco.

I helped my son build the boat, but he did all the painting with a little supervision and helped print and put on the stickers. And of course, his 4 year-old little brother had to get in on it too. 😂🎨

We literally finished this thing just in time for the deadline tomorrow! 😆

Pretty cool seeing something that started as a bunch of leftover Dez Taco supplies turn into a little piece of the boat that so many of y’all have come to know.

Maybe someday there’ll be a whole fleet of little Dez Taco boats! 😂
