Surprise update:

The initial trial date for Jason's murderer in October has been completely cancelled.

A plea deal has been accepted and she was sentenced to life in prison this morning.

I'd like to express my genuine thanks for not only the support of the business that Jason put everything into, but also for the outpouring of support, well wishing, physical and financial help that you've all put toward Jason's family, helping me tie up some loose ends with Frankenfries, and continuing to hope for positive resolution to what has been by far the worst period of time for so many of us.

It's unfortunate that it took such a heartbreaking and sorrow filled event to realize how many peoples' lives Jason improved or impacted. In the short time I came to know him and call him my friend, my life has changed for the better both in a literal and philosophical sense. Jason was a great man, father, partner, brother, son, friend, and confidant. His never ending passion to help anyone, at any time, and in anyway possible made him one of the most honest and genuine people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. There is no greater honor than to be able to consider him a friend.

Cheers, and have a great week and Labor Day weekend. Give your friends a family a big hug, we only have one life, so make the best of it and share it with those who matter to you.

Many thanks to those who shared our post about selling our pickup- it looks like I finally have a buyer.

Even more thanks to those who helped us fill the gap between what was owed and what it is hopefully going to sell for.

Buyer is coming back with the rest of his money and we should be good to go!

Trial update, results as expected. She'll finally stand trial.

A hearing is scheduled this morning to determine if Mercedes Robb was sane when she is alleged to have murdered her husband near Lebanon in November.
