BIG changes are coming to the Great Bridge waterfront 👀🌊

Woody’s Raw Bar & Grill is planning to move its Great Bridge location across Battlefield Boulevard into the longtime vacant waterfront building at 136 Battlefield Blvd. N. but that’s only part of the story.

The roughly 10,000-square-foot space is expected to feature TWO concepts under one roof:

🦪 Woody’s Raw Bar & Grill | bringing over the seafood, wings, drinks and entertainment locals already know.

🍷 Legacy at the Locks | a brand-new concept with a more upscale atmosphere, elevated menu items, a w**e list, and craft cocktails.

There are also plans for a small stage for live entertainment. 🎶
Woody’s says the current Great Bridge location will remain open until they’re ready to make the move, with the goal of transitioning into the new space before the end of the year.

And if that building looks familiar… it has some serious Chesapeake history. It was once home to Locks Pointe Restaurant and later Kelly’s Tavern.
