Seven stops. Four brands. One incredible team. 🔥

This week Matt Hansen (COO), Mark Everett (KBP Drive-In EVP), Tony Buford (KBP Foods EVP), Joe Schmidt (KBP Bells SVP) and Jay Johnson (KBP Inspired SVP), together with local and regional leaders, spent the afternoon touring the Raleigh, NC area – visiting two Sonics, two Arby's, two KFCs and one KFC/Taco Bell to spend time with our team members and see excellence in action across all four brands.

Great teams, great energy, and a whole lot of fun along the way – thanks to everyone who made the day one to remember. 👏

After 44 years with Arby's – the last 26 at Store #1180 in Kingman, AZ – Mona Olson is retiring, and we couldn't be more grateful for everything she's given to this brand. 🎉

Mona is the heartbeat of her restaurant. She's a truly special leader with a history of record-breaking sales, an exceptional P&L, and a restaurant that reflects the pride she brings to work every single day.

But beyond the results, it's how she made people feel. The Mayor of Kingman – a familiar face and a warm presence to every guest who's walked through her doors, and a mom to every team member who's had the privilege of working alongside her.

Mona, thank you for 44 incredible years. Kingman is lucky to have had you, and so are we. Enjoy every second of this well-earned retirement. 👏

1,100 backpacks. 🎒 One very full lobby.

Our team came together at the home office to stuff backpacks with brand new school supplies for KBP families — helping them start the school year off right, with one less thing to worry about.

The Back'd program provides backpacks and supplies to any KBP employee, and to the students living in their homes.

Thank you to everyone who makes this program possible through donations to KBP Cares, and to everyone who volunteered at this year's event. 💛

Following a recent acquisition, leaders from our Sonic business met in Nashville for the "Built to Win" leadership workshop as part of their integration into KBP.

Through the program, leaders connect with peers, share best practices, and further develop the skills that help create strong teams and great restaurant experiences.

Last week our highest-performing restaurant operators stepped away from their kitchens and headed to Kansas City for a few days of connection and celebration with other market winners and their Home Office support teams. Great fun with great team. Cheers to The Ones – leaders who were the No. 1 in their markets, whose high standards and genuine care and appreciation of their teams deliver great results. Their competitive spirit probably helps too … and based on how they showed up for pickleball, game shows and corn hole, we know this group has that in abundance! 😊

Congrats to The Ones and all our Top Ten winners. Can’t wait to see who’ll be back at Home Office next year!

This week marks a milestone for KBP – it’s our 27th year owning and operating KFC restaurants! 🎉

We’ve grown from five Colorado locations to become KFC’s largest franchisee with 800 locations across the country thanks to a great franchisor and thousands of incredible people who work hard, take care of their customers, take care of each other, and have made a whole lot of finger lickin’ good fried chicken over the years.
