Last week our highest-performing restaurant operators stepped away from their kitchens and headed to Kansas City for a few days of connection and celebration with other market winners and their Home Office support teams. Great fun with great team. Cheers to The Ones – leaders who were the No. 1 in their markets, whose high standards and genuine care and appreciation of their teams deliver great results. Their competitive spirit probably helps too … and based on how they showed up for pickleball, game shows and corn hole, we know this group has that in abundance! 😊

Congrats to The Ones and all our Top Ten winners. Can’t wait to see who’ll be back at Home Office next year!

This week marks a milestone for KBP – it’s our 27th year owning and operating KFC restaurants! 🎉

We’ve grown from five Colorado locations to become KFC’s largest franchisee with 800 locations across the country thanks to a great franchisor and thousands of incredible people who work hard, take care of their customers, take care of each other, and have made a whole lot of finger lickin’ good fried chicken over the years.

Here’s to a great partnership and to every team member – past and present – who puts in the work, serves joys, and raises the bar day after day, year after year.

🌮🎉Another new KBP-owned Taco Bell opened this week on Transit Road in East Amherst, NY!

The new location brings nearly 50 new jobs to the area and is led by general manager, Nicki Sanchez.

Small change can make a big impact!

Many thanks to everyone who rounds up to support local charities. Here's just one of the 20 nonprofit organizations partnered with our KFC locations nationwide.

A special thanks to and the participating KFC stores for their hard work and to their incredible customers for their generosity. Together, they raised an outstanding $72,966 to support the mission of Down Syndrome Innovations.

Twice as tasty! Today we acquired 78 Sonic Drive-In locations in five states nearly doubling our SONIC footprint.

One of our favorite things about large acquisitions is the people connected to them. In this case, more than 1,600 new KBP employees across Kentucky, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, and Virgina being onboarded by an army of KBP veterans from nearby markets and our Home Office.

The restaurant business is a relationship business in so many ways. Here's to our expanding relationship with SONIC and Inspire Brands, and to new relationships with our newest hires! 🎉🥤

On Valentine’s Day we’d like to share some love in action — teammates helping teammates.

In 2025 KBP Cares, our employee-funded nonprofit, granted more than $640,000 to KBP employees facing difficult times.

Any employee in any location can request assistance whether they've worked for us for two days or two decades.

Thousands of employees donate $1 per paycheck to offer stability and support to others when it matters most, like:

❤️ Hardship grants for illness, injuries, funerals, natural disasters, domestic violence & more
❤️ Housing instability assistance
❤️ Dental care
❤️ Bike program & transportation grants
❤️ School supplies & Christmas gifts
❤️ College scholarships

As KBP Cares executive director, Kristen Deladurantaye, said at a company gathering Friday, “This isn’t just reacting to a crisis. We’re building pathways forward.”

New year. Old friends.

One of the gifts of the restaurant industry is the people we meet along the way.

Some we meet once, many we see often. We get to know their favorite orders and even better, we get to know them.

Like Ms. Virginia - a longtime customer of our KFC in Silas Creek, NC, who is celebrating her 99th birthday. She’s pictured with Area Coach, Sharon, who cherishes Virginia’s visits and describes her as bringing sunshine and light wherever she goes.

'Twas the day before Christmas break and all through the floor,
There were fewer people and meetings than the day before.
Finance was crunching numbers to close the books on time,
Facilities was making sure everything was running fine.

Out-of-office messages were prepped for while we're all away.
For even our restaurants are closed on Christmas Day. 🎄
When out in the hallway there arose quite a cheer.
People sprung from their keyboards because KFC was here! 🍗

A quick break was taken from the work being done,
For a lunch surprise to thank everyone.
Here's to great teams and great food; we enjoyed every bite,
