You may have noticed we've been a little quiet recently. We've had a lot of changes and things to work out. A lot of these things were beyond our control and some were absolutely heartbreaking, so we decided to take a breath and regroup. We'll start with the fact that the location we had planned to go to won't work. One of the biggest issues is that Wilco will not allow us to have cats. No matter how much we tried to work around it, there wasn't anything that would allow us to have food and cars on that location, even with separate ventilation. However, we refuse to give up and have spent time looking. We've decided that the Dripping Springs area will be a great location and is very friendly to the idea (my husband works south, so he's up for a move and even more so in the name of helping kitties). Unfortunately, Facebook won't allow a name change, so we'll be making a new page and hope you'll follow us

Today's update is good news! Yesterday evening, we received word that the developer has approved us to move into the Markets at Travisso!! Yay! We still have a few things we need to do to be 💯, but this puts us 90% in at this location. We are beyond excited! The location is still being built but is expected to be completed by the end of January, and then we will need 3-4 months for our build-out, so we are hoping to be ready to help some kitties get adopted by the end of spring at the latest!! My focus will now turn to the last bit of fundraising we will need, so please be on the lookout for the Kickstarter. Thank you, everyone, for your support!

Update: Wow! When we started this, I sure didn’t think location was going to be our roadblock, but boy, let me tell you, it’s a lot of work. Well, there was some confusion between realtors on the New Hope location, and unfortunately, the suite with the square footage we needed is already taken. However, it has ended with us looking into probably a better space. I’m just about to email our business plan to the developers of the new Travisso Market for approval. If they give us the green light, we’ll finally have our home. Fingers crossed, everyone!! Thank you for the continued support.
