Tacos Take It Easy

10/01/2026

TTIE will be temporarily closed while we finish getting everything dialed in and complete our inspection next week.

But this isn’t just a short break.

When we REOPEN, we’ll be serving from a NEW HOME. A fresh chapter for Tacos Take It Easy, built around the same scratch-made food, Texas smoke, Mexican soul, and love for this community that got us here.

This next season means more than just a new location or a new schedule. It is another step in the dream we started with faith, family, community, and a whole lot of smoke.

TTIE has always been built on bringing people together.

We are truly blessed and grateful for every person who has supported us, shared a post, brought a friend, booked an event, left a review, or simply believed in what we are building.

SAME SMOKE, NEW HOME, NEW CHAPTER

Big announcement coming soon.

This is what goes into tacos that are NOT average.

Hand-cut meats.
House rubs.
Scratch marinades.
Live fire.
Low and slow smoke.
Handcrafted tacos loaded with Texas flavor and Mexican soul.

We don’t just throw meat on a tortilla and call it a day.

Every taco starts before service, before the line, before the first order ever hits the board. It starts with prep, smoke, patience, and love for the craft.

Smoked and loaded Mex-Tex tacos, scratch made with love.

Two years ago, on July 4th, 2024, Tacos Take It Easy opened at Night Owl Bar in Old Town Leander.

So this Saturday, July 4th, we’re celebrating the right way.

Night Owl will have the party going with a DJ starting at 7pm, and we’ll be serving from 12pm–12am.

TTIE SUMMER HOURS ARE HERE 🔥

This season we’re making a move with purpose.

Over the last few years, we’ve continued to grow, add days, add hours, and push this taco dream further than we ever imagined. Now, with summer here and the fall season ahead, we’re using this next stretch to sharpen the operation, train our team, and get ready for the biggest season TTIE has ever had.

Starting this week, our summer hours will be:

Wednesday: 3pm–10pm
Thursday: 3pm–10pm
Friday: 3pm–12am

We will no longer be offering lunch Wednesday–Friday for the summer.

Instead, we’re focusing on stronger dinner service, late-night weekends, Taco Tuesday, and building the team that will help us serve this growing community at a higher level.

This is not a step back.

This is us getting ready for everything coming next.
