Amazing food! They will be cooking out of Durb’s during the week until their new spot is ready.
Hey y'all! Happy Monday🙂
Soooooo last Sunday was our last day in our big building, it was alot going on and its better for us to get out a bit earlier then anticipated. We are still working on the other location and its not too far away just A/C and flooring work to do.
It was amazing interesting 6 years to say the least! When I moved into that location after the first shift I knew it was too big for what I wanted to do (thats what she said) but I wanted to make it work. I tried for years to speed up service and to keep the maintenance in order but it was way more then I could do alone. When I first dreamed up my cafe it was to be like the small spots back home in Lake Charles were tou could talk to the owner, feel like family, and enjoy some great food. While we've made some great dishes over the years I feel like my cafe has drifted away from what I wanted to share with folks. As we start a new season in the life of my business im really happy to be getting back to what I should be as a chef and restaurant owner. Thanks for all your support, harsh criticism, and love throughout these past few years as I need all of that to stay open in such a crazy business and to be better!
With all that being said until the new location is ready to go I will be at Durbs Restaurant in League City Monday - Friday from 11am-until we sell out if you would like to know the menu or if we're serving you can reach us at 281-643-0323. Or just DM me on here.
Im super excited for the change because I felt creatively I hit a wall at over the past year are so, so from now on I will be making specials everyday like I did in Nassau Bay. Today will be a few options as I need to feel out the new space but tomorrow for sure will be some new tasty dishes! I will post the menu around 10am and i also will have it available on doordash.
Thanks again for everything yall and please share this post so folks dont make the trip to the nasa location!
