It was 1994 when Rick and Catherine Holcomb opened Catrick's Cafe. They were not here to make a "quick buck" and leave, but were in for the long haul; willing to work hard, make personal sacrifices and give back to the business. Since that beginning, Catrick's has expanded twice, having gone from 3 employees to about 20 and are still looking constantly to improve, wanting the best for their guests
. The way the community supported them from the start has also impacted their success, making their goal of creating a positive Christian-like atmosphere for both their guests and emplyees alike a possibility. Catrick's not only provides food and drink daily, but also has quality gifts (Montana Silversmith items, etc.) for those special people or occasions and an upstairs meeting room for groups of up to about 30. Unsure of what to get that person? Gift cards are also available from $5 to $100, no expiration, on hidden fees. Although the economy has gotten tougher, Catrick's has remaind steady, striving to provide their "plan" to the community. Much of their success has also been dur to faithful staff members, some of who have been with the cafe almost from the beginning, making it possible for new ideas to be born and put into action.
