Don’t let the clouds in the sky discourage you. Come on in, because we have your own cup of sunshine waiting inside. Sip something refreshing, treat yourself to a donut or apple fritter, and brighten your Saturday at The Story Cafe!

⚡ THE POWER IS ON AT THE STORY CAFE, AND SO IS THE COFFEE! ☕️

Thousands of our neighbors woke up without electricity this morning, but The Story Cafe is up, running and ready to serve you!

If your coffee maker is down, don’t sit at home staring at it. Come let us handle the caffeine. Grab your favorite latte, enjoy something delicious and spend a little time with us.

Then, beginning at noon, unplug on purpose and join us for FREE Java, Journaling & Joy! We provide the journals and creative materials. You simply show up, write, breathe, fellowship and enjoy the moment.

The lights are on. The coffee is brewing. The journals are waiting. Come see us today! ✍🏾☕️💛

🍎 STOP SCROLLING. APPLE FRITTER FRIDAY IS HERE. ☕️

This Friday, give yourself something good to look forward to.

We’ll have apple fritters, donuts, cookies, specialty blend drip coffee, smooth espresso lattes and more.

Lunch is served at 11 AM with our turkey burger combo, plus raspberry lemonade.

We will be CLOSED Friday, August 21st.

Join us when we reopen Saturday, August 22nd at NOON for the Jazz on the Square festivities! (Music kicks off at 4:30!) Come enjoy great coffee, good food, and community fellowship.

Stop by from 11 AM to 2:30 PM for our smoked pulled BBQ chicken sandwich combo. Pair it with today’s Red Raspberry Latte, served iced or hot, or cool down with a refreshing Mango Lemonade.

Some days, you have to make room for the work behind the scenes. ☕️🎥📝

The Story Cafe is closed today, Friday, August 14, while I spend the day handling administrative work and documenting stories happening across Southside Virginia.
