In 2020, I took a risk, and I set out on a mission to help women, especially mothers, fill their cups.

Many of you have filled your cups with warm cups of Mothering Tea while others have ventured into chilled teas. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ

Well, it's time for me to take another risk. I have decided that I will close the shop on June 18th.

I know it may feel abrupt to you, but it has been a thought I have placed at God's feet since last November.

It is my prayer that you continue to fill your cup(s) with whatever brings you more moments of joy and compassion.

And to honor you for adding Mothering Tea to your self care practice, I am marking everything down by 30%.

And it's hot outside, so think about the teas you'd like to try chilled or even the ones you want to enjoy during the cooler months. Either way, everything is on sale!

Enjoy this final day of shopping! And thank you for rocking with me these last few years!

My dad is constantly talking about living to see 100+, but you know what scares me??

Not that he won't, but that I won't.

That's why taking time to honor my own desires and needs is so important.

It is an investment into my own future.

I want to see my children become grown adults who experience all their hearts' desires.

I want to hold my gandbabbies and take long beach scrolls w my hubs.

No matter what the desires are for you, dream about your why and put a little action behind it.

My action started with a cup of warm tea every day in July.

What is your small action that is an investment into your future?

And if you want to try tea as your thing, grab the Just Breathe Box.

Looking at this photo brings tears to my eyes.

When I see her, I see so much shame. I see someone who is living someone elseโ€™s dream.

I see someone who is so lost in the sauce that she doesn't know what her true likes and desires are.

Well, actually, she does know those likes and desires. She's just too broken to truly acknowledge them to herself let alone out loud.

But on the flip side, I see a woman fighting within herself to release all the shoulds.

She is at the beginning of her journey to come back home to herself.

She desperately wants to have more happy and peaceful days.

And she finally committed.

I am so proud of old me. I made myself a priority and got to work.

That work yielded
๐Ÿ’Slower reactions to my kids' inquisitive nature

๐Ÿ’Compassion for my hubs

๐Ÿ’Nurturing toward myself and the thoughts that were on repeat.

๐Ÿ’And an actual release when I sat down on the couch that wasn't steeped in thoughts of laziness, lack of productivity, or wasted time.

This photo is representative of the shift and I love it.

May you find that moment, image, or thing that helps you get more cozy with you, FRFR this time.

Today, my youngest son asked for a ZBar. We didn't have any, so that provided the opportunity for him to protest.

I offered something different, and he reluctantly agreed only to come back get a few hours later, still wanting the "oatmeal bar."

So, right after dinner, I told him he and I would run to the store to grab a box of his favs.

It was about 7:20 and he has an 8:30 bedtime.

Which meant he still needed time to sit with his dad for their special bonding time, eat the snack we were going to get from the store, take a bath, brush his teeth, and read 2 books.

I always feel like I have more time than I actually do.

Do you ever find yourself pushed for time, or do you think you have more time than reality?

If this is you, join Diana and I Wednesday, May 3rd at 12:30 for our Wealth Tea Talk series.

You know I love listening to others stories, so it will be a mix of storytelling from participants mixed with a fact or two.

I'd be honored if you joined us.

You can register in my bio as it won't be on IG.

And don't forget to warm your cup of tea for the chat! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Motherhood reflections...

As we gear up for Mother's Day, I've been quietly reflecting on a few lessons learned, ideologies I have left behind, and new experiences I want to embrace.

But one thing that isn't changing is the quest to enjoy my own time with a cup in hand.

๐Ÿ˜† Pour me some tea, chile! ๐Ÿ˜‰

This is exactly why I named the gift box, the Just Breathe Gift Box. It sends the reminder to take a deep breath then proceed.

That deep breath has saved me and the boys multiple times. Whew, chile!!

I invite you to journey down memory lane.

There is nothing better (well maybe some things) than creating a plan and sticking to it.

But, we all fall short sometimes.

The beautiful thing is, we can get back up and try again.

To be honest, I haven't been having my tea moments like I need to.

So, I need to recommit myself.

For the last few weeks, I have been giving you and me the reminder to pause for tea, but it just hasn't happened consistently.

But today marks day 1 of recommitting to having a cup and inviting more calm in my life.

So, I'm remembering that I am in charge of my schedule and what I want in my life.

It is my hope that you remember as well and take action.

So, let's recommit to filling our cups literally and figuratively.

Are you joining me?

And if it resonates, share this with a friend who was just talking about recommitting.

One thing you are always going to do is...make it happen!

Remember to make it happen for your emotional and mental wellness, too.

My fav tip is to schedule it on your phone with a reminder alert.

I feel a little riskier in the warmer months.

It's something about it being so hot, you just say, "F...it!!"

This is Frozen Lemon Hibiscus!

To make:

1. Prepare 2 cups of lemon hibiscus (steep for 10 -12 minutes for a stronger brew since we are freezing it).

2. Add juice from 1/2 lemon

3. Sweeten the tea with agave to your liking.

4. Pour 1.5 cups into an ice tray and freeze

5. Blend the liquid and frozen tea together.

(Optional) If feeling even more risky, add your fav white spirit ๐Ÿ˜œ before blending.

Snap a photo, enjoy, and breathe in those risk-taking vibes!

Can I get an amen?!?! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ

It's giving spring. It's giving energy. It's giving do you, boo!!

There is nothing like a midday treat!

Berry Hibiscus, tastes like fruit punch when chilled.

And when you add fresh fruits...baaabbaaaayyy! It is goodt!

I love to add blueberries, strawberries, green apples, and pineapples to Berry Hibiscus.

Have you tried it chilled yet?

You need to try it like, nooooowww. LOL
