🚨 A VERY IMPORTANT ASHLEY B’S PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

I have laughed until I’ve cried over this. 😂😂😂

Tonight I found out that a friend’s teenage son has a phone number that is ONE DIGIT OFF from the Ashley B’s number.

Apparently, for about the last MONTH, this poor kid has been getting random texts and calls from people trying to order food from me.

He thought his friends were pranking him. 😂

One lady has apparently texted him SIX TIMES, and this child has just been sitting there wondering why random adults keep contacting him about food. 😂

Then after last night’s pot roast dinner, he finally asked his mom:

“Mom… do you know anybody selling pot roast plates?”

😂😂😂😂😂

And THAT is how the mystery was finally solved.

For the past month, this teenager has apparently been the unofficial Ashley B’s reservation line and didn’t even know it. 😂

So, friends, please check those last four digits before you text:

📱 Ashley B’s ends in 4922 — NOT 4992.

And one more important thing: If you don’t receive a confirmation back from me, your order is NOT confirmed.

Please save my number so this poor kid can stop wondering why people keep calling him trying to figure out what’s for dinner. 😂

Tonight was another SELL OUT night at Ashley B’s! ❤️

Our slow-cooked pot roast with potatoes, carrots and peas, served with homemade sweet rolls, is officially GONE!

I think it’s safe to say I’ve learned two things about Lawrenceburg: this town LOVES some chicken & dumplings and pot roast. 😂

Thank you all so much for continuing to show up, order dinner, and support Ashley B’s. I truly appreciate every single order! ❤️

I apologize for any inconvenience, but Ashley B’s will not be serving lunch tomorrow due to a scheduling conflict.

We WILL still be serving dinner as planned! Tomorrow’s homemade dinner will be:

You guys know me—I’m a BIG planner! 😂 And with September 1st almost here, I just couldn’t wait any longer to get this posted!

🦃 Ashley B’s Thanksgiving Menu is here! 🍂

I’m officially opening up orders for Thanksgiving! I’ll be offering homemade take & bake sides, homemade pies, Bundt cakes, banana pudding, apple crisp and more to make your Thanksgiving a little easier—and a whole lot more delicious. ❤️

Most of the sides will be take & bake and will come with baking instructions. The green beans will be fully cooked and ready to reheat, the yeast rolls will be baked and ready to serve, and the cranberry relish will be ready to go!

A little update…

I had hoped to be opening up my dining room very soon, but unfortunately we’ve hit a delay with the new front doors.

I placed the order for the doors several months ago and gave all of the specifications that were required. I found out today that although my order had been received, it was never actually processed. The gentleman I had been working with acknowledged that he had read everything and simply forgot to get the order started.

The doors are now officially on order, but we’re looking at approximately a 6–7 week turnaround, which puts us into October.

Unfortunately, these aren’t something I can just work around. In order to open for dine-in service, the front doors have to meet fire code. They must swing OUTWARD and be able to PUSH OPEN FROM THE INSIDE so that, in an emergency, people can exit the building quickly and safely. The doors that are currently there do not meet those requirements, so they have to be replaced before I can open the dining room.

In the meantime, Ashley B’s isn’t going anywhere! I’ll continue doing our lunches, dinners, grab-and-go items, desserts and catering just like I have been. We’ll just have to wait a little longer than I had hoped to finally welcome everyone inside to sit down and eat. 👩🏻‍🍳 🫶🏻
