I’m just going to be honest for a minute… this morning really got me thinking.

Sometimes I get so discouraged by the whole “support local” thing.

We hear it all the time. Support local businesses. Shop local. Keep your money in your community.

And we WANT to believe that. We really do.

But sometimes it feels like you’re only supported when you’re paying for the advertising, paying for the sponsorship, or paying to have your name put in front of people.

And maybe that's just the way business works. I understand that. But as a tiny, family-run business, it can be frustrating.

We don't have a giant advertising budget. We don't have a marketing department. 😂 It's literally just us, working our butts off, trying to make good food, take care of our customers, support other local businesses, and hopefully build something that lasts.

We aren't asking anybody to give us anything for free.

But sometimes a share, a tag, a recommendation, a word-of-mouth referral, or simply mentioning a small business when you hear someone looking for something can make a HUGE difference.

Because behind every little local business is a real person who is taking a chance, working long hours, paying bills, buying supplies, and trying to make it work.

I just wish “support local” sometimes felt like it meant supporting the little guys too, not just the ones who can afford to pay for the spotlight.

And to everyone who DOES support us without being asked… who shares our posts, brings a friend, tells somebody about us, recommends Six Pack’s, or just stops in and buys something…

We see you. We appreciate you. And you probably have no idea how much it means. ❤️

We're going to keep showing up and doing what we do.
