Happy 9th birthday to my cousin! He requested an ocean themed cake and cupcakes. So, he got a three layered strawberry cake with buttercream icing and fondant shells, seaweed and an orca. Cupcakes were funfetti flavor with buttercream icing. He was so excited!

I love how this bourbon barrel themed cake turned out! Oreo cake with buttercream icing and fondant decor. This is one of my last cakes before I leave for Culinary Institute of America. Can’t wait to see what techniques I’ll learn there to add to my repertoire! Thanks for trusting Abbi Cakes with your milestones!

New dessert alert!! Now in the case at Heavens to Betsy! We’ve got chocolate poke Heath bar cake and strawberries and cream poke cake topped with strawberries and Oreos. These are so good and rich enough for two servings! Which one are you coming to get?

Thank you to my Uncle and now Aunt for letting me do your wedding cake. The bride and groom cake and two large sheet cakes were all red velvet. The sheet cakes used the same recipe for the cake and icing that was used for my mom and her siblings’ cakes growing up by a sweet lady named Mrs. Matthews, while the centerpiece cake was red velvet with buttercream icing. This was my first wedding cake and I love how it turned out. What a fun night celebrating the new Mr. and Mrs. Brown!

I am so excited about my new dessert, Conversation Heart Brownies! These will be available at Heavens to Betsy! Bakery this week from Thursday to Saturday. Rich, decadent chocolate brownies with a colorful chocolate shell...and the classic messages from the classic Valentine candy! I'll keep as many in the case as I can, but when they're gone, they're gone!
