Since 2006, Carlos & Gabby's has redefined the Glatt Kosher dining experience. It began with the launch of our original Cedarhurst location - a modest shop on Rockaway Turnpike near the Long Island Rail Road crossing. It wasn't glamorous, or spacious (we have since moved to their new and spacious location on Washington Ave.). But unlike our Kosher-Mexican predecessors, Carlos & Gabby's managed to
combine a delicious and extensive menu of Mexican favorites, fused with a handful of American classics... not to mention all those great sauces (Tangy BBQ, Avocado Ranch, Creamy Caesar, Mmmm!)
This culinary excellence, combined with reasonable prices turned Carlos & Gabby's into so much more than a novelty. In fact, it has now become a landmark on the map of eateries in the Kosher restaurant capital of suburbia. And despite the coincidence, it is not named after two actors from a television show but after a famous restaurant in Mexico, called Carlos & Charlies. We aim to keep our prices affordably low while keeping our standards and quality unusually high. We pay close attention to all the details of the products we serve. Practically everything they offer is made from scratch - and our customers can really tell the difference. Our bread is always fresh and toasted crispy and every day we start over the difficult but rewarding process of preparing our ingredients, so there’s never a question about how long your meal has been sitting around. All of this is combined with a friendly, helpful staff and a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes Carlos and Gabby’s truly special and different. Our philosophy is very simple - “always make our customer happy. Whatever it takes we want to earn our customers business and satisfaction. We settle for nothing less.”
Carlos and Gabbys also serve as the Kosher food stand at Madison Square Garden (outside section 111) for all Rangers and Knicks home games.
