The Roost is the name of our family farm in Western Kansas and stands for working hard for what you love. Timber claimed in the late 1800's the Kinter family established their roots, working the land, raising a family and falling in the love with beautiful Kansas landscape that surrounded them. The Roost on Massachusetts Street in downtown Lawrence is inspired by that same strong Kansas work ethic
and determination. It will focus most of its energy on the art of hostipality accomponied by delicious, consistent food and drink to suit your every need. Our menu items will be created by careful hands with inventory puchased from a variety of local and specialty purveyor's. Fine espresso and coffee will be brought to you by Broadway Coffee out of Kansas City and New Mission Coffee from right here in Lawrence. Our cocktail menu will focus on libations that compliment our specific cuisine, and our bakery will feature numerous fresh baked daily items soon to be common classics. Many bakery items may be purchased in bulk for special events and ordered to meet specific dietary needs.
