Happy Friday the 13th. I used to love watching these horror movies when I was younger. The first Friday the 13th movie scared the crap out of me. I had a hard time sleeping that first night after watching the original Nightmare on Elm St. this was Johnny depp before 21 jump street. Nothing like being scared at the movies when you’re a pr***en. But like any other good movies, the subsequent sequels eventually got lame. I can even keep track of how many Friday the 13th sequels there are now. Today the only thing scaring me about Friday the 13 is this oppressive heat. Have a good day everyone. Stay cool with an iced coffee and a vermicelli bowl here. At least we got AC.

Happy Valentines Day. Don’t forget to come and join us here at Saigon Dish for a romantic, intimate and affordable meal with your loved ones. Well, at least the affordable part is true. No up charge or anything fancy here you guys. Just same old Saigon Dish family environment.
Many of you have asked me about our Lunar New year schedule. Since it’s this Tuesday. I’ve decided to close on Monday since it’s a holiday. That way the employees can have Sunday and Monday off. We will be OPEN on Tuesday Feb. 17., the first day of the Lunar New Year. Hope to see you guys then.

Merry Belated Christmas everyone. My apologies for missing Christmas. I was busy recuperating from another employee Christmas party. I need to remind myself that I am no longer that 20-something kid. My body takes a lot longer to recover. Next year, when these kids constantly want to toast the boss. I need to drink water. 😫. I hope all of you enjoyed Christmas with your loved ones. We’re open today. So if you’re tired of leftovers, a hot bowl of pho should do the trick.

FB just reminded me that today is Saigon dish’s 22nd anniversary. I can’t believe 22 years went by that fast. Thanks for all of your support throughout the years. We wouldn’t be where we are today without you guys. From the bottom of my heart, I truly appreciate you guys. Let’s see if we can do this for another 22 years..god willing

We would like to wish one of our members of the Saigon Dish family a bittersweet farewell. When jose started here he didn’t know the difference between Pho vs Foi Gra. Fast forward 5 years he’s become one of my best and most dependable waiters. We’re very sad to see him go but happy for him as he starts a new chapter in his life. Best wishes to you Jose and your family and your new job opportunities. Thank you for your dedication and hard work!

P.S. we will be CLOSED FROM JULY 28-Aug. 3 for our annual repairs and maintenance. We will REOPEN Monday Aug. 4.

Happy Valentine’s Day
One of the most annoying things I find about Valentine’s Day is how most restaurants increase the price on just this day. And we’re not talking about $1 or 2.
Here at Saigon Dish we want to show our love for all of our customers by NOT jacking up the menu prices today. So come on in and enjoy a Banh Xeo with the one you love. Or eat the whole thing by yourself. We don’t judge
