It has come to my attention that some website is trying to capitalize on this situation. I would never in my lifetime take advantage of anything of this nature. I am not selling any merchandise online. I never have. Please,please share this and do not think I would ever take advantage of anyone. Meg’s will be reopening Tuesday as planned. We hope to see some familiar faces. If you just need to stop by for a hug… (And for those who know me…. know I’m really not a hugger….). We will be there. Once again the support of our loved ones, and our customers, and people we have never even met have been extremely gracious. We are very grateful for the messages and outreach. ❤️

To Ursula Keating, Your husband John and your two beautiful children. It is with immeasurable sadness we give our condolences to your family. I can not imagine the loss you are feeling and my heart and my thoughts are with you all. Your daughter was a true hero on this day. She held your hand and kept you calm. And never left your side. She showed immense bravery and selflessness. I know there are no words that can help you in this time. But there is love for you everywhere. I hope your hearts can heal. please know that not a moment goes by that we are not thinking of you. ❤️

I would just like to post an update. Our building is fine and was undamaged. But I can’t say the same for our hearts. All of our thoughts and prayers are with the people who were hurt. We are closing tomorrow and Monday out of an observance of compassion for my staff and those affected. We plan to reopen Tuesday. If anything changes we will update. Please give an enormous hug to your loved ones tonight. Thank you for all your kind words and thoughts.

We appreciate all your kind words and calls. The staff and I are all ok. Please keep your prayers for the people who were hurt. Our thoughts are with them. We will keep you posted when we open back up. I would also like to say that the emergency response teams were incredible and to all of our customers who immediate jumped into action was a testament to how incredible humanity really is. We are grateful for everyone.
