We have a champion. 🏆 After 39 days, 29 nations, and a bracket full of upsets, heartbreak, and one very determined hometown cold brew, the winner of the first ever Lee's Drink Derby is the CAFÉ DE OLLA LATTE!

Think about that for a second. The very first drink of the whole World Tour, the one that started all of this on day one, outlasted every challenger and finished exactly where it began: on top. Cinnamon, brown sugar, and a slow morning turned out to be unbeatable. A tip of the cap to our runner up, The Canadiano, which led this bracket almost wire to wire and made the final a true heavyweight fight.

And here is the best part. The champion earns more than a crown. The Café de Olla Latte stays on the menu until the next Drink Derby, four years from now. The board comes down, the passports close, but the champion pours on.

Thank you, Laurel! Every cup was a vote, and you helped make this an incredibly fun event. You drank the whole world with us, and we can't wait to do it again in 2030. Come congratulate the champ. ☕️

The Final is set. 🏆 After 39 days, 29 nations, and five rounds of the Drink Derby, it comes down to two: the Café de Olla Latte versus The Canadiano. Nation No. 1 against Nation No. 2. The drink that opened the World Tour on day one against the drink that has led this bracket almost wire to wire. It is the matchup this whole summer was building toward, and you decide it the only way that has ever mattered here: one cup at a time. Voting runs now through Sunday, when the world crowns its champion and we crown ours. A fond farewell to our semifinalists, the Eiskaffe and the Dalgona, who gave us a great run. Two drinks left. Pick your side. ☕️

The Final Four is set. 🏆 Two matchups, and then we crown a champion.
• Café de Olla Latte vs Eiskaffe
• The Canadiano vs Dalgona
And we have to be honest with you about what just happened. The New Orleans Chicory Cold Brew, our hometown drink, the one that pulled off the biggest upset of the whole tournament last round, went out in the quarterfinals by a single cup. One cup. That was the entire margin between a run at the title and going home. If you ever wondered whether your order actually mattered, there is your answer.
Meanwhile, the Café de Olla Latte, the very first drink of the entire World Tour, the one that started all of this back on June 11, is playing the best coffee of its life right now. And The Canadiano, which has led this bracket almost from the beginning, is limping into the semifinals on fumes. The frontrunner is wobbling. The original is surging. We are still not telling you the numbers, but we will say this much: the drink you assume is safe is not safe.
Semifinals run Tuesday and Wednesday. Two matchups. Four drinks. Come check the bracket, order the one you are pulling for, and keep it alive. ☕️

The quarterfinals are set, and we are down to eight. 🏆 Four matchups, and every one of them sends a drink home for good. Here is who is still standing:
• Café de Olla Latte vs Pomegranate Bumble
• Eiskaffe vs Nordic Light Roast
• The Canadiano vs Mazagran
• New Orleans Chicory Cold Brew vs Dalgona
And let's brag on the home team for a second! The New Orleans Chicory Cold Brew, our own Gulf South cup, just knocked out Spain's Café Bombón, one of the top seeds in the entire bracket. Nobody had that on their card. Laurel showed up for the local favorite! We're still not saying who leads overall, but the last round, five of eight matchups came down to a tiebreaker, so the margins couldn't be thinner. If your drink is on this list, it needs your support! Come check the bracket, order your favorite, and send it to the semifinals. Quarterfinals run Thursday through Saturday. ☕️

The round of 32 is in the books, and it's a tight race to the top! Here's all we'll say: the current leader is polite, a little sweet, and moved down here from up north. The drink that started this whole tour is right on its heels. And a few survivors squeaked through by the narrowest of margins, one more quiet week and they're gone for good. The Round of 16 wraps tomorrow, Tuesday, July 7. One day left to keep your favorite alive. If you've got a favorite on the board, don't assume it's safe. Come read the bracket on the wall, then order yours like its life depends on it. Because it does. Think you know who's leading? Guess below. We'll neither confirm nor deny. ☕️

The group stage is over, the board is full at 28 drinks from around the world, and now the real competition begins: the Drink Derby. 🏆 Here’s how it works. Every drink we’ve unveiled is seeded by how many cups it’s sold so far, 1 through 28. The four best sellers earn a first-round bye. Everyone else goes head to head, drink versus drink, and the winner of each matchup is simply whichever one sells more over the course of that round. Win and you advance. Lose and you’re out. We’ll do it round by round, all the way down to one champion drink, crowned on the day of the Final. So your order is now a vote. Pulling for the Café de Olla? The London Fog? That gorgeous Pomegranate Bumble? Drink it, and drink it often, because every cup counts toward moving your favorite forward. The bracket goes up this week. Come find your drink and defend it. ☕️
